Minor Matters?
I was recently introduced to the gorgeous online shop, Minor Goods, which offers simple, stylish homewares, stationery and accessories made by small, traditional suppliers and artisans. It’s refreshingly affordable and I’m particularly taken with these lovely Natural Kitchen Candles, which are going into my ‘shopping cart’. Made from beeswax, rapeseed wax and essential oils, they’re a good natural alternative to some scented candles out there (when lit, those made from paraffin wax make our homes more polluted than the city streets outside). Available in three tantalising scents: mint, fennel or cardamom they are a snip from £9. My money’s on cardamon (with a hint of orange and black pepper) for a cosy, winter aroma.
