Must admit Covent Garden isn’t usually the first place I think of when it comes to a night out – moving statues and being bashed by backpacks etc not being my thing but I am looking forward to giving Compagnie Des Vins a whirl this weekend. It’s a wine bar that sprung up late last year from the people who brought us The Experimental Cocktail Club on Wardour Street, which if you haven’t been is well worth a look. Anyway, over 400 wines from small producers are on offer including a few new discoveries, and there’ a deli too, so it sounds good.
